A New Vision for Learning

 Brookesmith ISD, led by Assistant Superintendent John Clawson, has partnered with Michelle Hartmann of Fort Davis ISD to expand Early Childhood Public-Private Partnerships, enhancing education, financial stability, and community support while benefiting students through high-quality, cost-effective early learning programs across Texas.

 An Early Childhood Partnership unites public schools and private childcare providers to promote quality education, dual enrollment, and extended care, supported by TWC and TEA for families and working parents. 

 Partnerships can start anytime, not just yearly. They offer extended learning, maximize funding, and provide year-round education through TWC, TEA, and ADSY support, benefiting schools, childcare centers, and working families. 

 Early Childhood Partnerships can be formed statewide, on school property or at childcare centers. They reduce costs by maximizing enrollment and sharing compliance and quality expenses, fostering community over competition. 

 Brookesmith ISD offers formal  partnerships, aiming for high-quality early education through co-enrollment and funding, including options for curriculum alignment, professional development, and shared goals for quality. 

 Partnership programs provide year-round, high-quality childcare, promoting school readiness and child development. They maximize funding efficiency and offer continuing education for employees, with Brookesmith ISD supporting local and statewide collaborations.
